Back in October 2018, we were introduced to a potential client by a local building contractor. The clients' brief was open by way of design and aesthetics, but there were some very critical criteria to meet to satisfy the client's needs. A plot at the end of a rural village was acquired by our client and the original building on the plot was in need of vast modernisation. It quickly became apparent that the existing building was not suitable for our clients needs and the decision to replace the dwelling with a bespoke, single storey abode with oversized ceilings, windows and doors was required.
By coincidence we had worked for the client previously and since our appointment, our relationship has developed in one of our best client / architect relationships.
